Michelle Pennington

Michelle Pennington is managing director of Medill Partners, a real estate holding and development company.¹ Her campaign says she studied economics at DePaul University and has worked with nonprofits supporting Chicago Public Schools.¹ She says she is a member of the Illinois Water Environment Association.²

Her campaign says she wants to review the MWRD budget for waste and work to lower property tax bills.³ She says every dollar should go toward clean water and flood prevention instead of outside programs.⁴ Pennington has called on the MWRD to secure abandoned properties in Harvey and provide transparency to affected taxpayers.⁴
