Overview
Kimberly Lifschitz is a paralegal and former preschool teacher.1 She has served as a room parent and PTA executive board member.2 She has frequently criticized board decisions during public meetings.2
In 2025 she urged the board to protect special education funding as federal cuts loomed.3 She has called for more public information about education technology products the district buys and for a filtering system in which websites need approval before students can access them.4 She also proposed phone pouches during the school day.4 At a student forum she backed a one-year moratorium on generative AI, saying it could weaken critical thinking, and proposed a teaching and early childhood education pathway.1
