Jackie R. Kruger

Jackie R. Kruger is an attorney. She owns a law firm and has volunteered in district schools. She says the district spends more per student than neighboring schools but gets worse academic results. She proposes using local businesses and UCLA for internships and lab access. She supports smartphone-free days for students in TK to grade 8 and vetted AI tutoring tools. She also proposes yearly public reporting on screen time. Her campaign priorities include increasing board transparency and raising academic performance. She also wants to close the district deficit.
