Gina L. Chi

Gina Chi is the vice president of the San Gabriel Unified School District Governing Board, where she has served since 2022.¹ She works as a treasury manager in the banking industry.² She says the district's top needs are raising achievement for all students, including English learners, and providing mental health support.³ She says she helped pass Measure SG and is directing its funds to projects that benefit students.³

Chi believes the board should set the district’s vision and approve the budget and curriculum, while leaving classroom instruction to teachers and administrators.⁴
