Overview
Ted Mason is chief of staff to 15th District Commissioner Kevin Morrison, a role he has held for eight years.1 He previously served as director of outreach for Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi and chief of staff for former State Senator Toi Hutchinson.2 He is also the Elk Grove Township Democratic committeeperson.3 His priorities include protecting access to mental and behavioral healthcare, safeguarding county services against federal budget cuts, and expanding restoration efforts in the Cook County Forest Preserves.1 His campaign also highlights supporting small businesses and balanced budgets.4 His campaign says his county work helped provide millions in small business grants and erase $79.2 million in medical debt for district residents.4
