Isaiah White

Isaiah White is a special education classroom assistant at Chicago Public Schools and a former substitute teacher.¹ He worked on the 2024 campaign of board member Jessica Biggs.¹

His main priority is raising reading and math scores, partly by boosting pay for teaching assistants and hiring more effective school leaders.¹ His campaign says he will protect selective enrollment and options schools from admission changes or closures.² He told the Chicago Tribune that CPS has built "a system without accountability" for failing schools.³ He also wants to serve as a full-time board member and require board members to disclose income.²
