Overview
David Stephen Siegrist is a former Rio Hondo College trustee. In 2023, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported that an investigator hired by the El Monte City School District, where he was a board member, found he sent harassing messages to a gay trustee of a neighboring school district, including a text saying the trustee was "most certainly exposed to AIDS and HIV." Siegrist denied being homophobic and said he was expressing concern for the trustee's health.1, 2
